Rocklin Police Department to honor officers killed in the line of duty

Rocklin Police Department is hosting a special memorial on Feb. 19 to pay tribute to the first Rocklin Police Officer killed in the line of duty 100 years ago, City Marshal Samuel Renaldi (Oct. 9, 1888 – E.O.W. Feb. 19, 1914). 

A new Rocklin Police monument honoring Renaldi and Rocklin Police Officer Matt Redding (Aug. 4, 1976 – E.O.W. Oct. 9, 2005) will be unveiled at the service.
